Separate

Separate is a painting that I put more emotion to it.  It represents two people trying to come together, but something is preventing them from coming together. On the right it was suppose to be a cube, but I messed it up and that mess up came up to be a face. On the left of the painting is a messy cylinder. For warm colors I used Indian yellow hue, burnt umber and titanium white. For the much cooler colors I used ultramarine blue, bone black with titanium white and N5 neutral white. Overall this was one of my favorite painting.

Red Swirl

Some of the characteristics that pop out are in the middle of the painting. I used the palette knife to sort of bring more texture to the painting. Some of the colors that I used is black carbon, cadmium red dark, ultramarine blue, hansa yellow medium, and titanium white.
